Parsons Behle & Latimer (Parsons) is pleased to sponsor The Seminar Group’s 26th Annual Montana Water Law conference, held Oct. 20 and 21 in Helena, Montana. Attorneys Abby R. Brown and Diana J. Abbott of Parsons’ Helena office will be speakers at the two-day conference.
Covering recent legislative updates and timely topics in Montana water law, conference speakers will provide substantive and procedural direction for appearing before the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, the Water Court and district courts in Montana, and will also address key water policy issues of the day. Montana CLE credits are approved for the conference.
Brown, who serves as program co-chair for the conference, will be speaking on water rights as well as providing introductory remarks at the event. She is a shareholder in the firm’s environmental and natural resources and water law practice groups, where she represents a diverse range of water users, from small individual family farms to large irrigation districts, in water law and real property matters.
Abbott will be addressing Montana Form 602 and 2062I Groundwater Certificates. She is an associate in the firm’s environmental and natural resources and water law practice groups, helping clients navigate complex water rights and related real property issues throughout Montana.
