Best Lawyers in America (Best Lawyers) has once again recognized Parsons Behle & Latimer (Parsons) attorneys in its annual recognitions, based on peer-review and merit-based legal distinction.
In its 2027 edition, Best Lawyers recognizes 60 Parsons attorneys, including four Salt Lake City attorneys as “Lawyer of the Year,” an esteemed recognition given to only one attorney in a given geographical region and specific practice area in each year’s edition. Eight attorneys are honored as “Ones to Watch” – attorneys who are climbing the legal ranks early in their careers. The 2027 Best Lawyers list includes attorneys from Parsons’ offices throughout the Intermountain Region, including Boise and Idaho Falls, Idaho; Helena and Missoula, Montana; Reno, Nevada; and Salt Lake City, Utah.
The exclusive “Lawyer of the Year” status was given to attorneys with extremely high overall feedback within specific practice areas and metropolitan regions. “One to Watch” status was conferred on up-and-coming attorneys in their respective practice areas.
Best Lawyers, founded in 1981, recognizes attorneys through exhaustive peer review surveys in which tens of thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers. Only 5% of U.S. Lawyers earn this honor. If votes for a lawyer are positive enough for recognition by Best Lawyers, that lawyer must maintain those votes in subsequent polls to remain in each edition. The publication analyzed nominations in 205 regional jurisdictions and in 151 practice areas.
